During this Jubilee year of the Arlington Diocese, Bishop Michael F. Burbidge requested all parishes to conduct a pilgrimage. On Saturday, October 7, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Bishop has invited all on a pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, MD. Where there will be a presentation on Mother Seton and veneration of her relics, Mass with the Bishop, Eucharistic Adoration, recitation of the Holy Rosary and a visit to the Mother Seton museum, gift shop and outdoor picnic lunch. Those attending will receive a plenary indulgence.
St Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Orange is coordinating with Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpepper to try and get transportation for this event. The cost will be $40 per person.
