Parish Center Renovation Project

Matching Fund Drive

St. John’s has been presented a wonderful and challenging opportunity to renovate the Parish Center. The renovation is designed to completely refurbish and redesign the building from top to bottom, bring all mechanicals up to date, adding an elevator to serve all three floors, removing the steps at the entrance to the building, and creating much needed meeting space for our ministries.

Accounting Application Bankbook BusinessSt. John the Evangelist Church & School in Warrenton, Virginia seeks a Business Manager/Accountant to over the finances of the parish church and school. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, internal controls, cash management, and maintenance of Chart of Accounts. This position is also responsible for Human Resource for the church and school in coordination with the Diocesan HR Office. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, preferably a background in human resources, and at least two years related experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel and good communication and organization skills are required. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with experience in school and/or nonprofit accounting.
